Objectives of the Society- To develop Leadership skills among members of the society.
- To provide administrative experience and develop the organising ability among members of the society.
- To develop the competence among them for running the subject society.
- To provide them with practical experience in handling the task.
- To provide them a platform other than the classroom for expression, participation and deliberations on commercial issues.
- To aware them of various days, events and activities related to their subject.
- To ignite Innovative Ideas and Creative Thinking.
- To develop Interest in the Subject of Commerce among Members of the Society.
- To Develop Awareness among Members of the Society related to various Socio | Economic issues of Indian Society as well as the Economy of the Country.
- To Develop Literary Taste and talent among the members of the Society.
- To write articles/poems for the College Magazine Section.
Malwa Central College of Education for Women has established a number of subject-related societies and commerce Society is one of them. The Commerce Society strive to nurture the overall personality of the students and to provide them exposure to various administrative activities, The composition of the society is very simple and it works on the basis of democratic principles. The society has five posts in its governing body. Out of these five members of the governing body, three members are nominated which are selected every year through the democratic process on the basis of secret voting. All the decisions in the society are taken on the basis of majority votes by following democratic values.
